Hi, I’m Dan, the founder of CarryCast, and I’m excited to share my passion for fishing and the outdoors with you!

Fishing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ll never forget those early days, fishing with my Dad. There was something special about those quiet mornings by the water, just the two of us, watching the sun rise and feeling the world slow down. It was in those moments I developed a deep admiration for nature and a love for the sport that’s only grown over time.

I live in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Surrounded by stunning rivers, lakes, and endless outdoor beauty. But as much as I loved fishing, I struggled to find gear that could keep up with my adventurous lifestyle. Hiking, camping, and road trips are a regular part of life here, and I always wanted to bring my fishing rod along, but it wasn’t always practical.

That’s when I started looking for compact, travel-friendly fishing gear. I was frustrated that there wasn’t anything truly portable and performance-driven. So, I set out to create something that combined both: Gear you can easily take on the go without sacrificing quality or performance.

At CarryCast, my goal is to help you experience nature as much as possible. Whether you’re hiking to a hidden fishing spot, camping by a quiet lake, or road-tripping to the next adventure. We live in a fast-paced world, but fishing has a way of reminding us to slow down, appreciate the moment, and reconnect with what truly matters.
