Wonderful addition to our backpacking kit; worked awesome when reeling in a 5lbs Jack with no issues.slight learning curve with how to properly reel with the way the rod “locks” into place, but once figured out, it has been fantastic. Excellent portability and works wonderful for smaller hands. Shorter handle, but the rod feels comfortable and has an extra “grip” to hold/stabilize. Would purchase again, fits great in a small pack, or in our medium-sized tackle box.

I always bring mine any time I'm camping or backpacking. It's great! Fits easily in my backpack and its surprisingly strong for its size. I've caught some good sized fish on this thing too!
