1. Thread the line through the rod’s eyelets.
2. Attach a Swivel and Lure – Use a "fisherman's knot" then clip on your lure.
3. Unfold your rod until mechanism locks into place.
4. Extend & lock each section of rod in place, making sure eyelets are aligned.

How to Fix a Stuck Rod Section on Your CarryCast Rod
If a rod section becomes difficult to extend, follow these steps:
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Find a soft surface such as carpet, grass, or a piece of cardboard to help protect the rod.
- Hold the rod upright with the end of the handle resting on the soft surface.
- Place a shirt, towel, or cloth around the stuck section to improve grip and protect your hands.
- While holding the rod securely, gently bounce the handle against the soft surface until the stuck section loosens.
- Once freed, extend and collapse the section a few times to ensure smooth operation.
Important
The CarryCast rod is built from a durable carbon fiber and fiberglass blend designed for regular use and travel. Use firm but controlled pressure when freeing a stuck section, and avoid twisting or forcing the rod excessively.
